DJ Mavik is the public artist identity of Mike Macalinao, a Southern California open-format DJ focused on one thing: creating the right energy for the people actually in the room.
Mike approaches every event as a live experience, not a recycled playlist.
The preparation matters — learning the event, understanding the audience, organizing the music and planning the major moments — but the real work happens in real time. The crowd tells you what is landing. The room tells you when to hold a groove, when to switch direction and when it is time to raise the ceiling.
That crowd-first approach is the foundation of DJ Mavik.
The sound can move from house and EDM to hip-hop, Latin, country, Top 40, throwbacks, R&B, classic rock and dance favorites. The point is not to show off how many genres can fit into a set. The point is to connect them in a way that feels natural, keeps people together and makes familiar songs hit harder.
Mike's preferred environment is polished but alive: a rooftop at sunset, a resort pool deck, a packed reception, a private celebration, a lounge that turns into a dance floor, or a nightlife room that needs a DJ who can react fast.

public brand. The next phase is DJ MAVIK: cleaner, more premium, more flexible, and
designed to grow across weddings, hospitality, private events, nightlife and original content.
The name MAC VIBE remains the content and event ecosystem behind the artist — so the public remembers one artist name while the mixes and recurring experiences have their own organized home.
